Roses Watercolor

HI, Well He just left. While he and his Dad were working out both days I worked on my roses watercolor. It's finished. The colors are really brighter than the photo shows. My roses are red, but I  enjoyed making them different colors--- and up to the top left you can see the ice crystals.. over the blue rose. We had snow  yesterday and a little today. The temperature is going up and things are melting fast. One thing about the ES of Va. we can have almost all temperatures and weather in one day!! :) I sure hope we have enough left overs for supper!! Have a great Sunday. Love,Diana

Puppy News--- Kendra is putting Sarah(the yellow mother to be lab) bed in order for the birthing. A small plastic blue pool will be the whelping bed in her home. Sarah is doing well, getting larger and larger but doing fine.. Now we wait.. !!!!

  1. Hi Diana,

I can't seem to keep up with everything again, but wanted to pop in to thank you for your lovely comment on my blog. Today I feel great, and so I've decided to just go one day at a time, enjoying the good ones.

I just love the freshness and flow of your pouring and freezing technique. It works so well with flowers. These are beauties.

You must be so excited about the upcoming puppies. I enjoyed looking at the Labradors on the Shore Fine website. Puppies are just wonderful. They smell like freshly baked bread, well, until they get covered in mud!!!

Enjoy your week! Hope you get lots of painting hours in. :-)

  2. Sounds like you will have a new puppy in about 9 weeks or so? Yippee!!!! Love the roses; beautifully formed!

  3. I absolutely adore this painting Diana!
It is gorgeous with light and beautiful colours.
So exciting about the puppy .. I so look forward to your updates.
We are starting to think about a puppy and putting feelers out - like it was for you - difficult to come by and prepared to wait for the right one ...
    Hugs to you xx

  4. Dear Diana - oh I love your roses...beautiful colors too. Sounds like a new baby is getting close. So exciting.

Please comment, I enjoy them so much!
