Watercolor Of E.S. Nursery

The dogs and I walked in the nursery today. It is a beautiful, warm, sunny day. Here is a photo of my watercolor painting of this Eastern Shore nursery. It was a commission. Today the lob lolly pine trees are swaying in the breeze and both dogs had a delightful time sniffing and exploring as I enjoyed the time with them and nature. Last summer we walked there and came upon a row of gorgeous Japanese Hydrangeas, I was in awe of the beauty and stopped for a couple of minutes to look, when I was ready to continue I looked and Daisy, our lab had taken time to enjoy herself too. She was laying in a HUGE mud puddle near my feet looking up at me!That's my girl! talk soon, Diana

Radishes

HI! Well, I didn't find any flowers to paint. So.. I found some wonderful radishes. I love the color and had a pour that worked beautifully, a sprinkle of iridescent paint-- this is the powder form-- on the radishes in places and here they are. Hope you like them. Don't you love the bold colors of radishes!? Well, I'll read a little tonight, then back to painting tomorrow. Talk to you Soon.Diana

Hi, Here is a little house portrait. I just finished it.The size is about 3"by 4". It is located here on Virginia's Eastern Shore. We've been having the floors refinished this week so it's been a challenge with my art table and most of the furniture, 2 dogs, a cat and us jammed into 2 rooms, but hey. The floors are gorgeous-- ShenValley Floors of Onley,Va. did them.! The painting is finished and gorgeous! Now I think I need some flowers hum... to paint of course! talk soon,Diana

ESYCC, Daisy and Walk

Daisy, our Labrador, helped me this afternoon. While I cleaned out a closet, because we are having some floor work done this week, she grabbed a glove and hat to chew on. Afterward she and I had a little peach yogurt. Then we took a walk and enjoyed the fog.It was misty and cool. Have you ever walked mindfully. Thinking only of what you see, what you smell and feel. It was a beautiful walk-- everything glistening. Now with dry socks and paws( we all got our feet wet)and hot coffee, I'm going to work on this little house commission. It's only 3"by 4",a tiny painting of a tiny cottage. Oh yes, and this week I took 3 paintings to the Eastern Shore Yacht and Country Club to be displayed there for a couple of months. talk to you Soon, Diana
