ER and Brusho


HI, Well it has been a not so good week. Daddy had to go to the emergency room on Sunday and stayed in the hospital for a few nights. He is home now and Mama is with him, but I was with him as much as possible and am going back and forth over to their house too. He is ok. But of course I've been worried sick, yesterday I painted for awhile and tossed all of them in the trash. Ah ,when I'm upset it shows so much in my work. But this morning I've done this little coneflower and added a little brusho to the center. The bottom one I did last week with just brusho and water. Painted the water on and then sprinkled on the brusho, I did touch it with the brush a couple of times as you see the edges and the shadow. It was fun. I'm still not sure what I'm doing with it but play is good. Sending you all a hug, and taking one back from you. love,Diana

    I'm sorry about your dad, and know exactly the feeling of not being able to paint when your sad. I'm just the same way.. but hope to be back...

    I am glad your dad is home and doing better...I can think of nothing better to do then to be artful when sad or worried.

    Glad to hear your dad is ok, Diana, but I know the stresses this situation brings. Hoping his health continues to improve. I like both paintings!

    Oh I am sorry to hear you are having a bad week. Hopefully things will improve from here on. Like you, my mood shows in my work, so I can understand! But the flower is lovely :0)

    Diana, I am sorry to read you have had such a bad week. I hope your father is well on the mend!! I can relate to your mood and painting - can't even think of picking up a brush when I feel like that. BIG HUGS to you!!! Hope all is better soon!

    Dear Diana - so sorry to hear about your dad...believe me friend I know exactly what you are going through because have been there with both of my parents. Seems like too that the creative process does take a back seat when we get concerned for those we love. Your cone flower and pear are beautiful as always. Sending you bunches of hugs dear one.
