Watercolor of Day lilies.


HI, Today I have worked  on the lily painting. I added  a peach one. I have been baby sitting Sadie, John  had to go to Va.Beach so it has just been Sadie and Cupcake  ,the kitten and me. We all missed him.He is back now.  Sadie is doing well, she had her knee surgery 2 weeks ago. I still have to walk her on the leash each time she goes out. I haven't  decide what to do with the  background in the day lily painting.  I'm  thinking dark greens. What do u think?  Tell me about  your Saturday.  Love to each of u, Diana

    Dearest Diana- your day lilies are truly lovely. Dark greens sounds good. Can't wait to see it finished. So glad Sadie is getting better. Bet she will be glad when she can roam around again. Take care and have a delightful holiday.

    Good to read that Sadie is doing well!
    Your daylilies are lovely. I would try for lighter, varied greens. I have a feeling if you go with dark green, the lilies will get lost.

    Diana, you're a so lovely lady. Paintings tell who you are and love for mother nature and your nice companions. Regarding the background, it's up to you. Very important facts are it's "your" work. I hope you'll enjoy watercolour painting more than ever and be what you are fully.
