Do I keep Going ?? Ideas PLEASE!!!

Hi! The Eastern Shore Art League is having a member show. I have to paint 2 brand new never been seen watercolors for the show.(One of the rules..) I've named them.. 1. Autumn and 2. Memories. Thinking they can be anything .. because as of now I don't have a clue what they will be. I started the tractor painting the other day and have continued on with it... but I'm not sure if this is a possibility or not. It's from a photo of mine in Belle Haven,Va. What do you think?

I could just keep on going with it and see how it comes out.??? I've always loved to paint tractors especially old ones. To me they are so very honest and hardworking...I've also done some pouring in autumn like colors, Cad. Red, Cad Yellow, Opera, and Quinacrodone Burnt Sienna... I have a week and a half.. any ideas.. all are welcome..I"m out of ideas.. just like a grey fog in there.. totally..

Sadie is after a Grand Daddy Long Leg.. a spider with very long legs.. Here on the Shore legend goes that whatever you see a Grand Daddy Long Leg walk on you will get a new one..She swallowed it.

Hope you have a wonderful weekend. We are getting tons of rain.. which make the autumn leaves glisten. love to each of you,Diana

  1. Diana, you are going to be a most busy woman with all that painting! And if Sadie swallowed the daddy long-legs, does she grow another one inside??? :) :)

  2. Definitely keep going with that painting. I think it looks amazing and so interesting already! Why do dogs do such disgusting things? I can usually find one of mine with a nose in the back end of one of the others or licking things that make me shudder.

  3. Tractor yes! Beautiful painting.
    Love the couch
Ideas...walk downtown, take a photo, paint (where there's a pumpkin in the picture).:)
I was told Daddy Long Legs can give an unpleasant bite, but their mouths are too far under to grab hold. I hope Sadie doesn't get sick.

  4. LOL ! I just love that Sadie, she makes me laugh.
Diana , you never run out of ideas so anything you come up with would be outstanding..
I love old truck paintings , tractors , etc.. so interesting '.
    Maybe some farm tools nearby?

  5. I love the painting too-since you mentioned fog-how about putting the scene in a foggy setting?
Love the sad-eyed doggie picture in the previous post! SO cute!

  6. hi Debra, thank you, Sadie is just 7 mo. old and a sweetie but a mess too. Fog is an idea. HI BJ. no I"ve really been stumped lately on what to paint. We all get that way. Sending you a hug.HI Maywyn, Sadie is fine.I didn't know that about them. They are good ideas, thank you.Hi Sherrie, I know dogs do don't they.. Thank you for the encouragement. I have kept going I'll show you tomorrow. Still don't know what for the second one. HI Kathryn you know I wondered about that too. Ha ha.. love to each of you and thank you so much. love,Diana

  9. I think this painting is going to be wonderful!
Sadie is so cute! Sherlock has just eaten a mushroom in the woods.... at least I HOPE that's what it was!!! I've just fed him some charcoal in case it was something else!

  10. I really like the painting. It looks to me like your combining your talents to make something great! Keep going (If you haven't already!!!)

  11. hi Diana, I don't know why we lost contact but your pup is so sweet!
Sadly we had to let our oldest dog put to sleep. She had a heavy stroke and was so so sick....we miss her so much but it was the best for her...my Tovke!

Please comment, I enjoy them so much!
