Little Landscape and Wow Look at That Sky!!

Hi, we've had a busy day. Clay,my son,is home. While he and John worked out I worked on this little landscape that I had started as a demo on Thursday. Tonight as the sun was setting I was outside walking Sadie in the woods.. I had to take a photo the colors in the sky are gorgeous.. Have a great weekend! Talk to you tomorrow.love,Diana

Norfolk Botanical Garden Poinsettia Watercolor Class!

Poinsettia Watercolor Class at Norfolk Botanical Garden

I'm home. Here is my beautiful students today for my poinsettia watercolor class at Norfolk Botanical Garden. They did these paintings as well as so much more. Their sketches were good and they handled the watercolor very well, and I 'm so proud of the beautiful jobs they did. We went over a lot of information. Here's a photo of the sky on the way home. True, I was driving when I took the photo.. but it's gorgeous.. next class there will be on Sunsets! Have a restful weekend, love,Diana

Owls in Watercolor, My Class!

HI, Here's my class today. We studied owls, Great Horned Owls. They did a magnificent job,don't you think!! It's Ron, Dory,and Bobby. We did wash studies, drew our owls and painted them, painted leaves, sweet gum and holly,. and tried our hand at 20 minute landscapes. It was a full day and tons of fun.

 J. went with me and shopped at Sam's, Barnes and Noble's, (we don't have them on the Eastern Shore). When we got home with El Maguey dinner again -- love their taco salads!--, we had 3 cats and a possum waiting for dinner.
