Class and Happy Easter

HI HAPPY EASTER~!   Here is a photo of the gorgeous cross decorated by the ladies of my church, Craddockville United Methodist in Craddockville. The flowers come from all over the neighborhood.  I enjoyed the beautiful service this morning and the meaningful message.

Here's Norfolk Botanical Garden, with a few of the 9 students we had yesterday at my class. It was a beautiful day and we painted tulips and daffodils. I'm so tired today. Wishing you a lovely,blessed weekend. Love,Diana

Our Church Bazaar

HI! Tomorrow is the Craddockville United Methodist Church Bazaar. I give a painting to the silent auction each year to help. The money earned is used to help local people who need their heating bills paid,electricity, have had a fire,an operation,need help in some way. It's wonderful how many people we can help. Craddockville is known for it's baked goods.. old timey wonderful homemade goodies !!!and quilts, just gorgeous work. I've decided this watercolor will be for tomorrow. Hope it brings a good amount for the Missions. Sadie has taken the pumpkin from the steps and eaten half of it. Hope that doesn't hurt her... oh my!!! That dog!.. love to you, and I started another rose painting..Going to go get some coffee and try to paint now. love to you all,Diana

Day of Cleaning

HI! It seems when I have a show, afterwards I have lots of laundry, straightening everything, and with the pollen on the breeze and the windows open it's floating or rather blowing in.The show was nice but sales were off. No one was happy with their sales. But we must just keep on painting and hang in there. I don't know about you, but what else can we do. Quitting is not an option.

Hope you all had a nice Easter and holiday, I did make it to preaching and Sunday School.(I was tired and sore but I got there!) Here is a photo of the cross from our church in Craddockville, on Easter morning. It was a lovely Easter service.

I finished my Geese watercolor and framed it in time for the show and got lots of lovely compliments on it. So here it is. Well I'll go dust off some pollen.. maybe if I open windows on both sides of the house it will blow thru. It's a lovely spring day! talk to you soon, Diana
