Hanging the show.

I framed 15 paintings this weekend.  Today was delivery day at Norfolk Botanical Garden  for the show.   While Connie  was hanging the paintings I sold 2 .  I had never takenthe tram around the garden, so today I  treated myself. I  was in awe of the beauty. It was so much fun, and I took plenty of photos  to paint. However tonight I don't  plan on moving from this recliner except of course to go walk Sadie ,perhaps  we will here a Screech Owl.  Love to each of you. Frog and Being Together!

HI, I got the rest of my Thanksgiving shopping done, walked Sadie, and framed a little. Will get the rest of the framing done tomorrow am,then go set it up at Smiling Dolphin. Here is an old photo of Sadie as a baby with Rudy as her protector. She was afraid that night and ran to the cat for protection. A frog watercolor I did awhile back. I used the pour to shape the leaves and vines.and then negatively painted around them!. very simple but I liked it.. and it was so much fun. Talk to you tomorrow. Love,Diana

Tippy Toe Framing Day and Polar Bear Bathrobe!

It's been tippy toe day here. I've framed and Sadie has taken so many naps and played by herself. She was wonderful. Of course this morning she found some very smelly and decaying stuff in the forest. I'll spare you but I picked her up and got it from her mouth.. and tried to walk out of the woods but naturally got my feet tangled in wild vines.. and me, puppy and I was still in my polar bear bathrobe-- down we went.. rolling in the leaves.. ha ha.No close neighbors thank goodness! :)
