Roar Continues but a Quick Technique I just tried!



Trying to quickly show you this. I drew my hummingbird and flower then wet the w/c paper. Put Saran Wrap on it and loaded a tiny brush with color put that under the plastic wrap and look. It is delicate and fun.. after it dries I removed the wrap and painted. Sadie is not happy either. The computer is still crashing. I hope Clay can do something, we have virus protection but now it says we have 10 or so viruses..     Good golly, Diana! This technique is stunning!!! I don't quite get the method of sticking the brush under the plastic so hopefully you can explain a bit more when you get your computer to rights.

    Maybe you can do a system recovery on it? I recently did that to mine and while you lose everything you had on the computer (so save it to a memory stick or email it to yourself before doing the recover), it restores everything to how it was originally when you bought it. Worked like a charm for me.

    Hi Diana, sorry about your computer problems.
    I tried that saran wrap thing last year and loved it.
    Said I was going to do more but forgot about it.

    Oh good grief, I just wrote an epistle. and it's gone. Maywyn thank you the vacuuming helped. BJ, thank you too. and Sherry thank you and here's the directions --Wet your Watercolor paper totally, take your saran wrap and stretch or wrinkle and place on your paper. It's supposed to have ridges of saran wrap sticking up. Wet a juicy brush with lots of color and stick it into the tunnel or ridge of the sw. Then place down on your watercolor paper, this causes the color to run only where the ridges are.. it's fun.. try another color, if you want the color to move pick up the paper and gently tilt it..
