HI, I've put the little chickadee in my Maple leaf painting today and framed one painting. Here's our Christmas tree. It's short and easy to handle :).(You know I was the one who put it up and the one who will take it down.) The sun is starting to go down so that lovely pink sky is it's background. I usually have my art table under these windows but had to move it to over here. It faces a wall, but it's only for a month.I like it so much better over there..I'm trying not to grumble too much. What have you been painting or creating today? talk to you soon, love,Diana

Starting to paint now. We saw the Lincoln movie today. Don't miss it!
ReplyDeleteYou captured this little chickadee perfectly and I like the reds and pinks all around him (or her).
ReplyDeleteHi Diana, thank you for your lovely comment on my artwork.
ReplyDeleteAaah Christmas - not even close to put the tree up and decorate - can't seem to get inspired, I have so much work to do. It's not the same without Gracie either - I know you understand that feeling.
My new philosophy is that we play it by ear every year and just see what happens, rather than trying to follow tradition.
Love your chickadee

The bird and autumn leaf is just beautiful! Love your tree and window. Ours is still not up. Maybe tomorrow??? Hoping.
ReplyDeleteLove the chickadee!
ReplyDeleteYesterday, more than usual, they were all over the back yard flying back and forth inside the hedgerow. It hadn't begun snowing yet. I guess they were filling up from the neighbor's bird feeders.
Hi Diana. Your chickadee is so sweet and simple and beautiful. The tree looks so good by the window [gorgeous view there].
ReplyDeleteWoo- Diana - your chickadee is the best (they are such a favorite of mine) Tree looks great - sounds like you might be happy when Christmas is over - I confess me too - always glad to get into a new year! Have a blessed day and thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteHI Debbie, I'm trying to enjoy Christmas, honestly,if only I stop and realize how precious the meaning of it is and the blessings we have.Instead of thinking about what needs to be bought or made or decorated..oh , thanks, Thanks Kathryn.Maywyn, I love Chickadees,There's no rush I was early getting my tree up Sherry. That sounds good Vicki, I'm so sorry about Gracie, yes I know. Thanks Rhonda, Carol, I haven't seen it yet. love to you all, Diana
ReplyDeleteI LOVE your little bird! I don't think we get Chickadee's over here.
ReplyDeleteThose colours are so beautiful :0)
I'm struggling for painting time because of Christmas shopping, but I've just finished a portrait and I'm part way through a new glasses commission.
