Glads and ES Historical Society's Ker Place Art Show Coming Up.

HI, Here is a new watercolor, I've done recently. These glads are from Mama's flower garden. I love to paint them.  I've got a show coming up at Ker Place in Onancock,Va. Sept. 12 and 13 so I need to paint, paint ,paint..  They chose one of my heron paintings for their advertising and mailings. I'm so tickled.  Heron Grace. It's thru the Eastern Shore Historical Society.

Here is Sadie, she had a bath today. She doesn't like them. I leashed her to the back steps. Not realizing of course she would go under the porch to get away from the water. So I went under the porch with her and scrubbed her down with puppy shampoo and then she and I rinsed off.. Ha ha.. Talk to you soon, Love to you,Diana

Daffodils and Mini Landscape of Onancock

Well. I got the camera to work.  I just took a bike ride in the sunshine. I thought it was supposed to be warm and it's 39 degrees out there.. cool. ha.. Perhaps it helped me pedal faster.  :)

Here is the little daffodil I painted from flowers from Mama and Daddy's yard. I started the painting all wrong but needed to paint so I just drew a daffodil and painted  it then added more.. I like the way it did come out.  The next photo is the beginnings of a mini Eastern Shore Landscape watercolor.. It's Onancock. I took this reference photo last year. I'll go back to that after I finish saying Hi!

The puppies will go for their first vet check this week. They'll be 3 weeks old. Time is flying by!! My son is coming home this weekend. Daddy is doing ok. My sister is coming tomorrow to see him and us. Thank you all for your concern for Daddy and your love and support . It means so very much.

 talk to you soon,love,Diana

HI, yesterday I went up to Onancock. The Tall Ship, the Sultana, had arrived the night before. Here's a photo of it. Next weekend many Tall Ships will arrive in Cape Charles,Va.,this is 30 miles south and there will be a Tall Ship Festival. The following weekend I think they will be in Norfolk,Va. I'll be showing my artwork on Saturday in the Tall Ship Festival at Cape Charles.

I've painted and finished my little landscape pictured with it I have 2 photos of the Quinby bridge one I took years ago(top) and one last week(right side). I have 3 more commissions to finish, one of tulips and 2 angry chickens. The chickens are taking off. (Sorry I couldn't help myself!! Ha HA) Hope you have a wonderful weekend. I hope to rest some,I'm still tired from last weekend. Take care,Diana

Here is an 8x10 I've done of a tall ship. We've got a special event in June coming to Onancock,Va. and Cape Charles. An art show will be held then as well as special tall ships coming, with tours and exhibits.. so I thought today I'd work on a little watercolor --painting on the porch(missing my Daisy). I still have to use my scrubber to clean up some sail lines..love the scrubber for little jobs! Hope you all have a nice weekend.Talk to you soon,Diana
