Afterwards

Hi,as you can see Sadie, my lab,and I are resting up for the rest of the day. The weekend was wonderful,  l sold 16 originals. Thank you all for your support, all my customers, The Artisan Guild, Ker Place, so many dear people, thank you.

As usual  I am wiped out, l thought we could rest in my recliner, of course,  Sadie has to bring along her chewy bone and then tosses it in the floor as far as
She can to see me try to reach it. If I don't she hangs her head like her heart is broken, I may have spoiled her a tiny bit.

I have one more  art show before Christmas, The Copper  Creations Open House on the 2nd Saturday in December. I have to slow down to revive for a few days.
I am teaching 2 classes this week if  we get enough students signed up.

Our son was home for Thanksgiving and Mama & Daddy came too. John  and Clay helped me break down at the show and clean before dinner. Wish Laura  could have been with us but so glad we got to visit on the phone.

I have my nativity set out bUT still  so much to do... I love Maywyn s post..

Take it slow, enjoy your holiday, blessings  and love to each of you, love, Diana

These were a few of my work from the website.  Hope you all have a wonderful weekend.. I have an art show in 2 weeks.. Eastern Shore Artisan Guild Tour. I will be at Ker Place in Onancock,Va. with about 5 other artists. It is the day after Thanksgiving... yes I'm cooking. ha ha.. my plan is to have everything ready for the show the day before T. We will see.  Hope to see some local folks drop by!
I'm zonked today.. Definitely going to have some more coffee later.  Love to each of  you,Diana

I had class  yesterday on Great Blue  Heron  and wild grass,  I am wiped  out  I think  I put so much into my class,it takes a few days to revive.  I am just like that,ah well.  I have to gear up for the show this weekend.  I need a couple of small landscapes. We will see if I can get them done. I truly  have been in a slump for painting. I am still doing it but it is a push right now. Happy rest of the weekend. Love to you, Diana ps do you get in a slump and what revives you.

Art Show was Great!

Crabs, new original watercolor, sold at show on Saturday!

Sunflowers, new original 8x10, from lovely sunflowers at Norfolk Botanical Garden.

Sadie.
HI ! Well the Festival of the Arts was this past weekend. We had a good turn out of people. Thank you to everyone who came and supported us. I did well and sold a few, around 6-7 originals. Friday night was lovely with wine flowing and the food was luscious. I had to pack up by myself in the dark that night which was a challenge. Ha.. John couldn't come... but I had a flashlight and quite a few other artists did too so we made out fine.  John did help me set up and break down on Saturday. I was so thankful he did. My back unfortunately is just bad. I've been hurting since the show and resting on the heating pad or walking slowly around the backyard to stretch it.

I'm so thankful for such a lovely show and so many dear supporters and friends.
Now I'll rest for awhile, Sadie was so sad this weekend when I left her. She loves John but she paints with me! ha ha..

Wishing you a wonderful Monday. love to you, Diana
