Canadian Goose Watercolor

Here is a Canadian Goose I painted. A dear friend of mine bought it.  Today it's supposed to snow/sleet after it rains. Now it's raining with a touch of ice crystals in it, I'm trying not to grumble. Ok, I' m grumbling. Summer is coming. I'm looking forward to the days getting longer and they are !! More sunshine .. please.

I hope everyone is doing well and staying warm. Love to each of you,Diana
We had a little possum visitor to the birdfeeder. Sadie our lab missed the excitement. She was napping!

Back Shot and Geese..

hi, This painting is my "Canadian Geese", I used a pour for the background and came back into it and darkened some of the blues.. It looks like a lovely winter sky. You may have seen it before.

I can't do much painting... I have back problems and yesterday got an epidural shot in my back, I shouldn't have. I have the headache that you can get from that as well as being more sore and no better. My luck with medical procedures is not good. I shouldn't have tried. Now I have thanksgiving coming up with family visiting and I'm taking headache pain pills and grumbling and grumbling.. a lot... I did just lay in a wash on a painting. You can see where my priorities are. The laundry can pile up but I have to paint something. Anyway back to the recliner with the heat pack.. and no more shots for me.. never again. Sorry to grumble so..It will get better... Hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving with your loved ones.. talk to you Soon,Diana

Canadian Geese& Chincoteague Decoy Show

HI! I've been working on these lovely Canadian Geese, here is the sketch with the beginning of the first goose in watercolor,as you can see the other too are sketched and ready to paint. I saw some fly over yesterday. Such grace.

I've got to pack the car and get everything ready for the Chincoteague Decoy and Art Show. I've decided to set up in the morning... instead of tonight. It will help. It takes an hour to get there from here. The causeway into Chinoteague is one of the prettiest places I've seen, a treat. Hope you all have a wonderful Easter and Holiday. take care, Diana
