Sadie and tomorrow's her Birthday!!

Hi, you know me. I just had to paint another little watercolor before the show tomorrow.(Eastern Shore Heritage Festival 2014) So I sketched this silly emu last night and have worked all morning on painting him. Balancing the thalo blue in the white squares and the darks on his feathers(are they feathers?) finished him up. ha ha.. Hope he sells tomorrow. I will have silly paintings there--over 45 originals..

Still have more framing to do and I've put it off long enough,I'd better get to it. Groan.

 Sadie is under the oak rocker( notice the teeth marks) and tomorrow is her one year birthday so all this weekend.. celebrate life and puppy love!!

HI ! I just finished setting up my watercolors at the Smiling Dolphin. I have 21 originals there. Karen Pruitt is next to me up stairs. Her work is lovely in watercolors and acrylic. Jenny Floyds paintings and birdbath/garden art are waiting for the show too. Saturday from noon..to 5.. Lots of wonderful artists and artwork.. hope if  you are near Nassawadox you stop in!!!  I'm home going to clean so Sadie, the puppy is plucking her mattress in the living room.. Esal Member Show and 3 New Little Paintings

Hi, well the bazaar was a success, chicken salad is gone, the white elephant table did well and I sold a few paintings.. pictured are 3 new little paintings which were at the show today. The Eastern Shore Art League, ESAL is having it's member show this upcoming weekend. I have been a member for over 32 years.. I have put the info in the right hand side. Finished Rosebud

HI, here is the finished Rosebud,I used negative painting under her feet to make the grasses and define the belly of the pig. What do you think?
