Painting Sea Shells, Visiting, and ESCC Art Show

  
Hi !! Today I took Beth and Charlie  (the black LAB) back their sea shells. We had a lovely visit, Charlie grabbed my hat. Just like Sadie does,he loves to play. Sadie couldn't go this time,we are still trying to keep her quiet as she heals.  I have enjoyed painting Beth s lovely shelbs as well as taught 2 classes with them.here is one of my little watercolors, then, my dear friend Beth and Charlie.

It is another grey cold day. I am so much happier when the sun is shining. Looking  for something  to paint today,  next weekend  is the Heritage Festival at Eastern Shore Community College in Melfa,VA.  I will be showing my lovely art there in the Atrium Saturday, Feb.27 from 10am to 3pm. Lots of local art, old tractors, BY THE BAY ALPACAS,  ES Cornmeal, so many wonderful things to see and do. Come see,if you are nearby.

Wiped Out!! and Last of NBG SHOW!!

Hydrangea Bean Vine at Norfolk Botanical Garden. 

HI! Sorry I haven't been blogging lately. I've truly been exhausted from getting my show up at Norfolk Botanical Garden. I painted so much and now I have a show coming up with Eastern Shore Art League and need to paint and can't seem to get one going. I do have a flower painting that I"ve been working on. You can see it on Facebook but it is too small for this show.  But one afternoon when I was wiped out Beth called and said come have a boat ride and Charlie her black lab went too. It was so delightful and truly I felt so much better afterwards. No Sadie didn't go this time.  I'm still trying to take it easy on her knee, after her surgery.

Sad to say my show at NBG is almost over. This weekend and Monday and Tuesday are the last 2 days. I've sold 5 and 3 before I got to the show so it's been good. Hope if you get a chance you will go by and see it. Baker Hall, 53 original watercolors all by me. No wonder I'm zonked still!!! Butterfly watercolor beginnings

So much to share.. Friday I got by and saw my friend Beth and Anna ,her daughter, and this is Addy,her granddaughter. Jackson her grandson,4 years old, was snuggling in bed. But we all got to visit and enjoy being together before they have to go back home to Montana.

Here is my Frog finished. He was so much fun to paint. Funny or happy is good.

Sadie, this morning,is looking out the window at the well truck. Bundick is here to drill us a new well. We can hear the drilling as it's going into the earth.. They had to cut a holly tree down to the ground..ah well. I've been trying to work on my tiger swallow tail.. got one wing done.  I've turned on the music loud.. Helen Jane Long blasting.. ha ha.. sounds good. Sadie's had some redness and weeping of her stitches .. no wonder she won't hold still.. so later today we're going back to the vet for a recheck..  Take care.
