We love you,Daisy.
My Daisy is gone. She was so sick. She passed away last night. We miss her so much as you all know. My heart is broken.Diana
I've only just started to read your blog and so haven't commented before. Your love for Daisy touched me deeply. After yesterday's post, I woke up thinking about you and her, hoping all was well. I so very sorry. It's heartbreaking to loose a dear pet and as you say she was a companion to you throughout the day. I send love and understanding to you in hopes it will support you just little bit through your grief.
Diana, I am so sorry about your Daisy. I discovered your blog a few months ago and have come here daily. I so enjoy your paintings but especially the human touch you add to your writings. I know you miss her terribly and your heart is aching. There is no greater loss than that of a beloved pet.
Sending you much love from Texas. This is a loss like no other and my heart breaks with you. I wish I had the words or wisdom or magic wand to help more, but know that you are in the hearts, thoughts, and prayers of many.
So very sorry Diana ... I can see you gave her a beautiful life - it is sad we have them for so short a time ... but we never forget the love they bring into our lives. Big hug for you xx
I am new to your blog and enjoy your painting style immensely! But, as a dog lover, the story of Daisy has really touched my heart and I can really feel your grief as you share her story. This poem expresses the way I feel everytime I lose a dog, maybe it will help you, too.....
"It came to me that every time I lose a dog, they take a piece of my heart with them. And every new dog who comes into my life gifts me with a piece of their heart. If I live long enough, all the components of my heart will be dog, and I will become as generouse and loving as they are."
I hope in time you can honor Daisy's memory by allowing a new dog into your heart!
Thank you Vicki, and thank you Gayle, that is so beautiful. Yes I hope one day we will get a puppy..in time. thank you everyone. I can't tell you how much all of your comments have helped. Please keep them coming.love to you,Diana
