Painted Paw Prints
Today was a difficult day. Thank you all for your lovely words of comfort and love.I finished my wisteria.. which was a struggle. Daisy had made muddy paw prints into the back porch on Tuesday, I wanted to preserve them so I sketched them in my sketchbook(cried)and today I painted them onto the porch..(cried)I miss her so much.. thank you so much for your support. love,Diana
It's so hard to lose a beloved pet. My cat Max was my painting buddy for 17 years. He just slept peacefully near me when I worked. I cried my heart out when he was gone.
ReplyDeleteNow I have two cats who step in the paint, steal brushes & try to drink the water. Needless to say, they are banned from my painting room. I love them both dearly & they helped to heal my broken heart.
Sending you a hug to help with your heart ache.
Diana, so very sorry to hear this news. Can only imagine the emptiness in your heart and in your home. So much silence and loneliness when you lose such a dear friend and companion. Thinking of you and Daisy tonight. Sending you comfort.
ReplyDeleteHeartfelt. xx
ReplyDeleteOh Diana, I know so well what you feel. I still have a braid of my horse's tail draped on a bureau in the bedroom.
ReplyDeleteDiana - sure am thinking of you - know it is hard - paw prints on the steps and paw prints in your heart. Love what you are doing with the wisteria. Take care and God Bless
