Catching up with you
Hi everyone, I found I love drawing with a gel pen in my sketchbook. I haven't put any color on it but it was fun. Sadie is doing fine. She is our Labrador retriever and I had a true night of terror when she got a leather chewy 2 in square caught in her throat. I stuck my finger way down her throat and pulled it out ...was afraid more was stuck but didn't find more and watched her the rest of the night. She curled in my lap all 82 lbs and stayed there. Oh boy you know how much I love her, I truly was afraid. I have been working on a commission and I had to paint an owl, I enjoyed painting her. John and I have been painting the walls in the den today. Glad that is over. I hope you all are doing great we did get 10 inches of rain before the hurricane but very little storm. So very sorry for the Carolinas. Love to EACH of you,Diana ps this SAT. I teach at Norfolk Botanical Garden. Luna Moth and Ferns.
The painting and drawing are great! 10 inches is a lot of rain-hope you are drying out now. We've had rain almost every day...lots of mushrooms in the yard. So glad Sadie is ok!
ReplyDeleteThank you Debra, yes it was soggy but has dried out now. I love seeing the mushrooms in the yard, thank you, Sadie is fine now. I was so worried, but she is ok. Love,Diana
DeleteOh no Diana, I can just imagine! I probably would have done the same thing and also been hysterical. I know how much you love Sadie, and I'd heard of dogs choking on those rawhide bones when they get to be little splinter size...After hearing that I never gave Angie any... Oh how I miss that little girl..
ReplyDeleteHope Sadie is alright... and YOu TOO !
Tha k you BJ she is fine now, I don't buy those for her anymore, yes I was terrified, but she is fine now, love to you,Diana

ReplyDeleteI can imagine how frightened you were with Sadie. So happy to read she is fine. I love gel pens too Diana. Use them mostly in my journal and to doodle on the back of envelopes at work. Hope you have a fine October. Hugs!
