Glads and ES Historical Society's Ker Place Art Show Coming Up.
HI, Here is a new watercolor, I've done recently. These glads are from Mama's flower garden. I love to paint them. I've got a show coming up at Ker Place in Onancock,Va. Sept. 12 and 13 so I need to paint, paint ,paint.. They chose one of my heron paintings for their advertising and mailings. I'm so tickled. Heron Grace. It's thru the Eastern Shore Historical Society.
Here is Sadie, she had a bath today. She doesn't like them. I leashed her to the back steps. Not realizing of course she would go under the porch to get away from the water. So I went under the porch with her and scrubbed her down with puppy shampoo and then she and I rinsed off.. Ha ha.. Talk to you soon, Love to you,Diana
Beautiful painting! Congratulations for your work chosen as the face of the art show!
ReplyDeleteGladiolas are one of my top favorite flowers.
That must be Sadie's I had a bath today face. Precious.
Love the glads, D....
ReplyDeleteSadie has the sad puppydog eyes.
and we know why.
This is a gorgeous painting! Really pretty! And Sherlock LOVES water - he would find a puddle in a dessert and lay right in it... But will he get in to a bath with out a wrestling match... NOPE! He hates baths too!! ;0)
ReplyDeleteThe glads are gorgeous, Diana!! I love baths; wonder why dogs aren't so fond of them?
ReplyDeleteI wish I was closer I'd be signing up for a class! I love your work. A few post back you had a tree frog that you used an iridescent glaze on. May I ask what that glaze was?
ReplyDeleteSo you and Sadie had a bath, hee hee! I just went through the same thing with Cooper and Max. I think I was wetter than either of them. I was totally shocked at how tiny they are when they are wet. Can't say the same for me but we had fun. Thanks for your comments on my painting. Coming from you that means a lot!
Diana - just a gorgeous painting...I so love your flowers and hummers. As for Sadie - her eyes tell the story...no more baths they seem to say (LOL)! Have a great week dear.
