Day Lily Watercolor
Hi, I think the computer may blow up. It's roaring so loud. I'll do this quickly. I've painted a day lily on Masa paper on 140lb cold press Arches watercolor paper. The flower was so lovely in my front yard I had to pick it before Sadie ate it. She has been a rascal today. Oh my. Thank goodness she is asleep now. I've used Cad red,Cad yellow deep and light, permanent rose, opera, and thindago violet. Hope each of you have a wonderful weekend. Love to you,Diana
Just wonderful. Love the textured surface. Do you glue on the masa paper? Happy weekend to you too.
ReplyDeleteThis is just looking amazing, Diana! Sadie does have a rascally look in her eye in the photo...
ReplyDeleteThis is really beautiful! Gorgeous technique :0)
ReplyDeleteDiana - this is truly stunning. I love the texture you have going on with this. Checked out your older post too...beautiful building and great technique with the palette knife. Glad Sadie didn't eat this daylily. My she can be busy (I have one like this too-lol)! Have a great day.
