Sadie is doing good and new Snow Watercolor

Here she is Maywyn, Yes please help me watch her. She is doing good, stiff but really pretty good. I'm so glad. We are really blessed. It definitely scared me terribly but she is doing good. Thank you all for your wonderful loving messages.

I've started a winter scene. It's pictured above. I wanted to do a snow scene before the snow melted.. but thank goodness, it is almost out of here. It's been in the 50s today..  Sadie is resting near me. We've been in the backyard.. the weather is wonderful. We are so blessed she is doing good.

Wishing you a happy Sunday and if you watch the super bowl, enjoy. John is. I'm looking forward to the commercials. love to each of you,Diana

  2. So glad to see Sadie is by and large ok. The whole thing is still nerve-wracking and I am thankful that she was only bruised up a bit, though I wish it hadn't happened at all.

Love the looks of the landscape, Diana! I love when you paint them and can't wait to see this one finished!

  3. Thank you, Diana, for posting the pictures of Sadie. Yay! Its amazing how seeing her releases tension. She has the look of misery knowing how her hurt was a stupid mistake. She's going to out grow her bed.

Have a great painting day. Your snow watercolor is lovely.

  4. Hi Diana, thanks for the photos of Sadie.
I think she's had a reality check... knowing that her beautiful world has a few unpleasant things It's like when your kid realizes that the whole world is not always warm , safe and cozy. But she will come back from it tho. ..
I can't wait to see her up and about.. I'm sure with you that'll happen..

  6. I am quite sure you won't believe me when I tell you this Diana - but Sherlock got hit by a truck last week! I could hardly believe it when I scrolled down to find that Sadie had a similar story! We had a plumber over to fix the boiler and he left the back gate open and Sherlock was in the garden at the time. It was my fault because he is my responsibility, but as soon as I realised he had gone I heard a huge screech outside and i knew immediately what had happened... Then I saw Sherlock come tearing in like a lunatic and he hid shaking behind the sofa. I couldnt believe he was alive! The driver came to the door and said he had definitely hit him and his gums were white... I was panicking and crying... it was awful... Anyway, he was at the vets within ten minutes and by some miracle after a thorough examination the vet said he was just in shock and had escaped with nothing more than a severe manicure!!! He has been hobbling ever since but apparently it's just bruising... I know exactly how you felt when it happened to Sadie. Such lucky dogs and a warning to both of us! Big hugs xx

  7. Dear Diana - Sadie looks like she is doing fine. I am so glad. I think her angel was watching over her and yours was caring for you too!
On another note - your winter painting is really looking beautiful. Hope to see it when it is finished. Hugs and I will continue to look up for Sadie and You!

  8. Diana, I am so relieved and happy to read that Sadie is all right!!! That was a terrible fright. I hope she has learned not to go screaming out into the road. That was a very hard lesson.
And I do like your winter scene so far - looking forward to more.

  9. Well I am glad to see Sadie is doing well. We are having very cold weather and tomorrow is the big parade for our Seahawks. What a game. I loved the Bud commercial and thought of Sadie. They always have the best ones.
