Sunday Painting
HI, Wow I'm tired. I've just finished the little landscape and decided to play around with this coneflower. I love negative painting. I think I like the flower best. Leftovers for supper.. Clay's been gone for awhile,so he should be close to home. My daughter,Laura, just called from Illinois and said they had to go into the basement because of a tornado watch.. That's scarey!! But she said they are fine, thank goodness. Be safe and have a relaxing Sunday night. Love to you,Diana
I almost missed this new post as it doesn´t show on my bloglist. Only the old post shows. My favourite painting is the flower too, although I like the other painting too. Has Sadie chewed on the photo? ;)
ReplyDeleteHah! That explains the gallery representation in Tuscola! I wondered how you were showing there when you live way out on the east coast. Yes, we had the tornado sirens go off at least 3 different times here yesterday and my daughter called to warn me we were in the path of the tornado(es). Fortunately it veered northeast before it got to us. Not so fortunate for others though, I am sad to say. The landscape is so pretty and the coneflower is looking quite amazing already too.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely painting!
ReplyDeleteSo glad the tornado didn't amount to anything... there is so much freak weather around at the moment - Who knows what's coming next???
No matter what your subject, landscapes, flowers, animals, still life... your a very talented artist Diana, and I mean that sincerely.
