Painting Roses in Watercolor



New photos!!! I got the camera sorta working. I'm not mechanically inclined. John's uncle, Uncle William used to wack anything that wasn't working correctly on the farm with a hammer. Sometimes that works. ha ha.. He was a dear man.  Here are the 2 roses' I've been painting the past couple of days. Very simple drawings onto a pink poured background, I really enjoyed painting them. Yes nothing else just the roses on the paper.

    Lovely the simplicity of the roses with just the lines and pink. So pretty! My dogs can't have rawhide any longer. At least two of them swallow big chucks and Heimlich maneuvering a dog is a bit scary (but it works).

    Your roses are so simple and exquisite, Diana! And Miss Sadie looks so quiet with her new chew toy. :)
    I relate completely with Uncle William's repair method - it is one of my favorite techniques, too. :) :)
