HI, I taught at ESO in Belle Haven,Va.on the Eastern Shore yesterday. We painted watercolors of the beach. I was tired when I got home and so was Sadie.. you can see the art bag behind her. She tried to bury a bone in it last night. I've added some verbina to the little painting. It's better. Very proper.. I do like looser but this is what came out of me yesterday. Are you like that? Have a great weekend.. love,Diana
Diana - verbina adds just the right touch - so lovely. Lol at Sadie using your art bag for her hiding place. Wow is she ever getting big fast. Have a beautiful week-end.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely, lovely painting. Thank you for showing it-really cheered me up!
ReplyDeleteThis is lovely and I love seeing the bird, different to Australian birds! Mrs A
ReplyDeleteThe flowers are gorgeous, Diana. I can't believe how big Sadie is all of a sudden!
ReplyDeleteI never know what's going to come out! It's often not what I pictured ... but that's okay, right?
ReplyDeleteI love verbena--have some in my yard.
The other flowers (dahlias?) are very nicely painted--there's a real feeling for how they are structured.
And, again, love the background!
Hi Diana. It's NEVER a dull moment with Sadie!!!
ReplyDeleteYour painting is beautiful! We've just brought Sherlock an Antler. He LOVES it! And it doesn't smell like a bone, or get sticky and also it's not brittle. Very good for them too :0)
ReplyDeleteSadie is growing by leaps and bounds.
ReplyDeleteand yes, sometimes my paintings turn out loose and other times not.. I don't know what to make of it except that I have 'no style'
I'm back from my trip as of 2 days ago, and now the task is , get over jet lag, and back to home stuff.. and lets not forget painting. !
