Tiger Swallowtail Watercolor and Sick Puppy (fine now!)
I'm tired. We had a problem. Sadie was sick. Yesterday afternoon after I wrote you, she was hyper.. not napping, whining and crying and running, she did not slow down.. I called Kendra, and she helped and I called the dr. He said give her a benadryl.. she had had a shot yesterday and a worm pill at the vets. Our Poor puppy was miserable. so was I. Needless to say I slept( well sorta) next to her and she slept fitfully, Today she is doing fine. now she's sleeping on the job. I've been painting this butterfly and she naps beside me. So thankful that is over and she is fine!!!.. I love to paint butterflies and to see them to me is almost magical.. their beauty so ethereal. Talk to you soon. Love,Diana
Your butterfly is beautiful! So glad Sadie is doing better. I love that she sleeps next to you while you paint.
ReplyDeleteOh Diana, you must have been besides yourself with worry. I'm glad she's doing better.
ReplyDeleteShe is so precious...
Yes, love your butterfly too ! BJ
Did I say I want to hug her? LOL
ReplyDeleteBJ
Oh boy! I would have been fretting about Sadie too. The butterfly is looking beautiful!
ReplyDeleteOh poor Sadie!
ReplyDeleteWas it a reaction to the injection?
Sherlock is obsessed with picking things up in his mouth - today I found him munching on two plastic clothes pegs and I had to dig them out of his mouth as he tried to swallow them! The chewing stage is scarey - I worry that he'll block himself up with something - So I'm watching him all the time. It's like having a baby again isn't it? But worth every minute.
Your butterfly is beautiful :0)
Dear Diana - catching up on all your posts since Sadie arrived. I bet you were so worried. Thank goodness she is okay. They grow way too fast so savor these puppy moments. Your butterfly is lovely. You are such a fine artist friend. Your work always speaks to my heart and you paint the things I love. Have a wonderful day.
ReplyDeleteOh, No! Poor Sadie and poor you! We always worry more when things happen to our "children" than when they happen to us. I am so glad she is better! Your butterfly is beautiful... now you can rest, relax, and paint! I took Maverick to the vet on Tuesday, just for his shot. Once again he is doing better.
ReplyDeleteThank you Beth so much for your help going with me to the vet!! So glad Maverick is doing better. He's a sweetheart! Nap time is now! :) Thank you Sherry, you are a dear friend. Wish you were near enough to hug her BJ. :) hugs to you and thanks Carol. love to each of you,Diana
