Cardinal Sketching! Happy New Year to you!
Happy New Year! Wishing each of you and your loved ones a wonderful year of blessings and health. I've been sketching a little,so here is Rudy, our 15 year kitty. She doesn't like this cold weather. Today we had maybe 10 snowflakes. They were lovely. I sketched a male cardinal onto this pour. He and his mate have been enjoying the bird feeders in the backyard. One feeder is half a pumpkin with Christmas ribbon as it's handle hanging from the flower hook. Haven't been able to do much. The Spinal headache continues. 6 weeks and one day. I just want it to go away.. and I know it's healing..ah well. I'm pleased I got this sketched. Hope to pick up the brush tomorrow. Take care, Diana
Diana, Wishing you all the best for the New Year.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear you are still not feeling well, hope you recover soon. It must be awful not being able to do your usual painting.

I just read your comment on my blog, I wish you well Diana, you inspire me even when your ill. I just hope it's getting better. I was plagued by migraines, serious ones my whole life.. now that I'm older they are not so often or severe. I know what you have is different but I can feel for you ..
ReplyDeletetake care... your sketches are wonderful as usual .. I'm learning a bit about pouring .. love that look for back grounds. Barbra

Diana, I'm sorry you aren't well; chronic problems are the worst! I always say I can handle anything--for 3 days, then it's torture. I hope you are 100% soon.
ReplyDeleteYour cardinal drawing is so good--they are tricky to draw I've found; the beak is exactly right!! And I love your kitty!
