Glazed shell
hi, I added more shadow to the shell and punched up the peaches and pinks in the background, also glazed the sand shadow too.. so it's finished.. tell me what you think..thanks, Diana
Beautiful, Diana, and, I know from experience, a difficult subject--I have many such shells that I want to paint! In answer to your question, I usually use, or prefer to use, Fabriano Artistico sheets and blocks (though the block surface is less toothy).
HI Laura, thank you, I usually use arches, cold press. but like hot press too and sometimes Winsor Newton 300lb. thanks..for letting me know.take care, Diana
