Straighten the Bottles!
We're still resting here as you can see from Daisy's photo. I painted some last night and this morning too-- working on the blue bottles. I see some are crooked and need straightening!ha ha Also I need to put more blue in the clear bottle in front for the reflections-- I really love that lime green color though. well that's what I'll do next. talk to you soon,Diana
Congratulations on your sales, Diana! The bottles are fantastic! HOW do you get that dark??
ReplyDeletethank you Laura, the darkest blue is Ultramarine Blue Da Vinci watercolor and Sepia mixed together to make a dark blue, more blue than sepia. Some of the blue is plain ultramarine. Then of course I threw some plain thalo blue in some areas. All are Da Vinci. Take care,Diana
ReplyDeleteI have just been reading your posts and see what a busy time you have had. It sounds like a wonderful exhibition, so far away from me, as I would have loved to see it. Well done, best wishes to you both, people will enjoy seeing your beautiful work.
